What pumping pressure do you work to? 5 inHg sometimes 6 to 8 for short bursts
my pulsating pump I am starting at a pump pressure of 5 inHg and find my size doesn't seem to increase.
it takes time with a lot of breaks
go to fast high vacuum and you will regret it inguries

Any tips would be much appreciated
take your time it is frustrating sometimes but in the end you will be happy
most of the time when I pack a tube it will take 1.5 -2 + hours with 5 min breaks every 15 minuts
and a heating pad to keep the tube warm helps alot
there are people on here more experienced than me

2.25 tube time to bring out my tube I made in 2005
out of a paint ball cylinder
until a new one comes in

I heated it up than pushed it over a soda /beer bottle to help to flare it
very hot it will burn you if not carefull
than filled the backside with epoxy
pic below of tube before I filled it with epoxy(top tube)

and a fish tank gravel cleaner works also app 2.0 inch diameter (bottom tube)
the paintball is app 2.25 id gravel cleaner
