IMO pain means something's not right. Masking pain is asking for hassles. Scar tissue won't stretch.
Not going to be 20 mm in a week. Maybe a year.
I use my fingers & thumbs often. Lotion up, they're different sizes, always available, flexible, smooshy.

I can see I am not a professionial sounder like a lot others here.
But I love sounding can handle 11mm normal / 12mm on good days.

during my intro to sounding, I was reluctant to trial-and-error by credit card online by buying devices I knew not if they'd work for me.
went on basic principles, longest, straightest, smoothest, and can be made food safe.
So I had an extended version of a 5mm drill bit, and you'd have to spend hours on photo-shop mimicking some of the insertions I saw before I emory-papered the blunt end of that drill bit so it would insert my cock.
But it did, and I'll never forget the pleasure like pleasure I'd never felt, and I got 10 inches in.
But I did spot bleed for a few days, so easy to puncture a blood vessel.
So presently, I've settled on a 6.5mm glass rod, 7.75" of which I can bury inside me SO easily
I'm going for 11" glass rods

7.75 inches is 19.7 cm, so you got to the prostate. Did you notice that? Such thin glass sounds are dangerous because they can break. Metal Hegar dilators are better.

been there, done that in early days before I started ordering "silicone and steel" apparatus thru mail, I sounded up to and including a 6mm extra long cobalt steel drill bit. I hit over 10" and a scored a hit, bled a little for three days in my pee

If I get a bit too aggressive I get some burning for about a day. I hope it never lasts longer. I have gotten into the prostate on many occasions. Be sure to keep things aligned so not to put pressure as the urethra turns up.

I am struggling with keeping the Lidocaine in my penis long enough to make it work.

I am thinking about using a penis clamp to hold the Lidocaine in for several minutes so it can get a chance to do its work.

Any ideas that anyone could please share?

I take a couple of qtips(cotton swabs) and put lidocane cream on them then shove them in the urethral opening.

I have a few different creams and sprays I have used to numb the head and it is a completely different feeling that you get when it is numb. From the inside.

This rod is 6mm and can get it all the way to my bladder.
I have the same thickness one that i can get into my bladder.
Was a little sore and a small amoint of blood but the second time i took it more slowly and the feeling is amazing.
Dont think you can get into the bladder without a curved one

I have gotten 10 inches in then i pushed further trying to get into my prostrate, felt good but when i peed i got asmall amount of blood but it stopped,
