It took a long time to download...but now neither quicktime nor windows media will open the file (invalid file type). Yikes...I want to see!

This file is a .zip file. The first thing you have to do after downloading the file, before you can view it, is unzip it. If you are using Windows XP it is very easy. You locate the folder with the zipper and the file name, right click and choose extract all. Then you should be able to play the video.
