DP-4000 installation issues

Post by azalexan »

 due to a slightly inebriated impulse purchase I find myself the proud owner of a new DP-4000 pump. Hoping to apply its impressive powers to continue the expansion of my package. Unfortunately I find myself stuck unable to install the software package available on the CTC web page as it fails during installation with missing files. I can’t use the disk that was shipped as I have no CD drive on my windows machine. Does anyone have any insights? I’m a Mac guy and tried installing on a surface tablet and on a Mac running parallels and got the same errors each time. Help!

You could buy an external CD drive to plug into usb port, they’re fairly cheap as well
The bigger they are the harder I get.

I run it on an old laptop running windows 7, I’m not sure it would run on even windows 10. Find yourself an old laptop for a couple hundred bucks and that should get you running

Contact them and they will help you.
I am having problems getting the software to run on a laptop I have, as my old laptop died.
I contacted them, but he wants me to call them...
Haven't called yet, but I am sure he can help us both 🥰

well it seems the installer on the ctc page is corrupt, I had to buy an external cd drive to get the files and installed successfully. ive archived a zip in case anyone finds themselves in a similar situation.
