It's a common electric vacuum pump sold online, sometimes sold as a "Hercules", it's the same pump LA Cylinders sell with their own badge (plus $). You start the pump, stop it at the required vacuum and it will auto restart to keep the vacuum level. Mine died after getting some water in it accidentally. It's OK but it chews batteries and is not rechargeable.

Their are better electric pumps. Search in this subforum and you'll find the links.

I have the same electric pump from LA Pump yes it chews up AAA batteries fast and it’s expensive from LA Pump. At $89.99 I should have done more research before I bought it.
