Has anyone used smooth foceps to clamp prior to a cut?
I've started to extend my meato and used a pair of serrated clamps prior to cautery cutting. Just wondered if using a smooth pair might result in an easier cut as opposed to leaving the compressed bumps.
Smooth or serrated forceps?

Re: Smooth or serrated forceps?
I did mine originally with serrated ones then later extended with smooth. The smooth ones slipped off several times, which was unpleasant. I would definitely recommend the serrated ones.

I didn't even know they made smooth forceps. All of mine are serrated.

I use serrated forceps so they won't slip. The serration bumps smooth out over time.
