5% glucose

Hi all just checking if it is ok to use 5% glucose for injection to either cock or ball bag. I’ve use normal saline before but never glucose

Me too. I only use dextrose 5% (aka D5W if it's Dextrose 5% in Sterile Water) or D5NS (Dextrose 5% in Saline Solution). Dextrose and Glucose are the same thing.

Dextrose 5% (D5W) does not sting while going in, whereas Saline has a stinging sensation. D5NS stings similar to saline, but the sting goes away after a few minutes for me. D5W has minimal swell, whereas D5NS swells a lot more.
