DIY Seal / Large tubes

Post by brooklynphil00 »

check it,

those of you dealing with the struggle of wanting to get bigger, but the rim of the tubes stops ya. sucks, I would barely make it past the 3hr mark.

But! so I went to home depot and found this green seal in the plumbing section. been trying to find something that would work/fit on my 5x7x10 LA Pump tube.

well, it worked! - I cut the flap out with scissors, then with a razor blade, I cut inside the circle, down the middle and opened it up a bit enough to fit the rim of the tube.

pumped for hour, but I gotta work tonight so I couldnt keep going. lets see how long I can go later when I get home ;)

Sani Seal looks like you can pick it up for $12 at a home improvement store. I'm going to pick one up and see if I like it. Thanks for the find! Ive been looking for a seal with a larger opening than the stj seal from pumptoys.

So I went to Home Depot near me and they did not have it. Maybe I can order it on line.

Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna try this. I've been wanting better comfort for my 4.5"x5"x9" tube. I made it from an acryllic canister from walmrt. Cut out bottom, filed, sanded rim then glued lid on original opening. Been working great. I do have a 5" opening tube but its so wide it limits movement and harder to seal.

Hey thanks so much for the tip. Works terrific on all my pumptoys, Much better than their seals and a WHOLE LOT CHEAPER. Thanks Again.
