Making sure before the 1st time

Post by wave »

Its really difficult to get saline bags where i live, since by law it cannot be sold to the private man.

so i happen to get a saline bag, its only 100ml, made by "Baxter", and before i start for the first time, i need to make sure my saline bag is safe to use.
Details:
pH: 5.5 (approx)

Osmolarity 308 m0sm/l (approx)
formula per 100 ml:
Sodium chloride 0.9g
mmol per 100 ml (approx)
sodium 15.4
chloride 15.4
the color of the water is purple, the friend that gave me that bag (works at the hospital) says it suppose to be purple, and its sterile.
exp date is 4 months ego, ill be glad to know whats the diffrent between a non expired bag and an expired deck, before i begin.

So is this safe to use? have any1 ever tries this specific product (wich in this case, i suppose, was bigger)?
Thank you helpers!
