steady vacuum?
Are you supposed to keep the vacuum pressure on all the time or release say every 10 min. and repump?

It's good to let up every so often. Everyone does it differently. I will pump for 20 mins. and then let up for a minute or two and then do another 20, etc.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe you can tell if everybody, pumping long enough will fill the tube. I am filling the tube at the base and near the head after about 3-4 weeks daily pumping for 30 min. or so. I know everybody is different and won't fill the length but I'd like to fill the width. I'm using a 2-1/2 x 9 tube.

Yes you can fill the tube in width and some show a little gain in length (those who are blessed!). It really depends on how big in girth you are to begin with. I will usually start with a 2" and fill that after 30-40 mins. then go to a 2 1/4 for another 30-40 mins. to pack that one. Sometimes it takes longer, and I have been pumping for about 8 years.

Re: steady vacuum?
The above is my 2" and this is the 2 1/4.

Re: steady vacuum?
So do you think I should be using a smaller tube and then after I can fill that go to a bigger tube?
