This fetish aside, it's appalling the medical manufacturing industry can let shortages of these fluids happen, specially considering they just got out of a shortage a year or so ago. This is such a vital fluid, there should never be shortages.

Mountainside-medical still has stock, its one of the places I've ordered saline from. The other is atlanticmedsupply but they're out right now too.

I have found the saline on Mountainside but I cannot find their catheters. I am looking for an 18 gauge butterfly if possible. Does anybody know if they sell them or anybody else who does without a prescription?

When I ordered catheters from them, I was contacted by them via the email asking for a physician license, I think that is because of state NY regulations, so I always get my catheters from Atlantic Medical Supply. wish i could be more helpful

I was happy to find this after you posted it, but they have a few disclaimers on those items posted on the site:
NOTE: Do to the national shortage of this product we have limited availability to ensure that our regular customers are not effected.  Please contact us at 860-388-4599 if you have not purchased this item from us in the past so we can add you to the list.
This item is an RX item.  Please do not order this unless you have a medical director who has given us written authorization to send this item to your organization.
A Prescription Authorization Form must be on file for us to ship these products. You may download this form here, or visit our Information Center page.

So I guess I'll just have to wait until one of the other sites restocks.

Funny thing is Atlantic is also in New York State. Just on Long Island. Maybe a County Regulation? NY is infamous for a zillion rules depending on what side of an arbitrary line you stand on...

Hi Guys

Are you finding a source for saline that doesn't require Rx?

Thanks
