Glycerol - Science Theory

Hi!

I've got question, Glycerol is sweet, nontoxic alcohol which is used in pharmacies, food industry etc. It is also hygroscopic, it means it absorbs water from environment. What I'm trying to say is that it will act as hypertonic and it will absorb water from body like dextrose solution. It is cheap and you can buy pure glycerol in pharmacy, can it be used as substitute of saline?

Yeah right red cells get very dry when we treat them with Glycerol but the same happens if you use hypertonic dextrose on them. So why there are so many dextrose users here? Because it gets diluted by body fluids when it is inside ballsack, the same happens if you would inject Glycerol to ur ballsack. I am not saying that I want use glycerol, n2o is good for me, just curious why u ppl use dex and not glycerol cause in my opinion it would be better.

How is glycerol going to damage them? I know it can draw water from cells but haven't heard anything else about it's negative effects on red cells.

I think it meant that if it is used to direct injection it can be harmful but as it is absorbed from ballsack it can't be danger for health. Glycerin is naturally present in skin, hair and even in blood. It helps moisturize skin so it would be good for ballsacks even from inside. In my opinion it can be used as substitute of dex. It is even said that Glycerin is hypo alergic.

I told you I am not going to do it xD But in my opinion it is better than other stuff like saline with dex. I prefer N2O
