Hi there,
I have tried Saline injection before now I have 500ml of Glucose 5%...
Somewhere I have read that glucose can expand by 4 times... on other page 2times...
I did 350cca ml with saline (with lot of free space...) but family got back so I had to end it...
I'm not sure if its ok to do 500 ml glucose .. if it expanded by 4 times.. 2l (worth of saline) could be too much I dont know
So is there some big difference between 5% and 10% ? (like.. 2x and 4x size expansion)
Thanks for any answers!
My first attempt.

Re: 5% vs 10% Glucose
Firstly it depends on each persons body and how it processes the glucose but a good rule of thumb is 5% would double and 10% quadruple. So your 500ml 5% would go to about 1000ml and if it was 10% you would be looking between 1500 and 2000.

Re: 5% vs 10% Glucose
In our country we need prescription for even saline or 5% glucose.. so I'm trying to find some source of everything.. when I take it from someone.. its always too expensive.cjfatnite wrote:Uhg. Every source I find for 10% requires a prescription.
Right now I did 5% glucose infusion and still have 500ml of 10% but.. I'm not sure if I can risk 10% without knowing how far my sack can grow.
