50% Dextrose Pre-Filled Syringe Into 5% Dextrose 1000ML (?)

I was wondering if my math was wrong. But wouldn't all of a pre-filled 50ml syringe of 50% Dextrose turn a 1000ml 5% Dextrose bag to just under 10% Dextrose? I would love to do 10% but I can NOT find anyone who sells it without Dr.'s permission...And I figured this might be the easiest way since there's a sterile injection port on the Saline bags I order.

Would anyone like to Chime in? I would like to try this, but I'm considering not using the full 50ml because I don't want to do anything harmful to myself.

Dont use 50% Dex. It can be the End of your happynes! Mor than 5% will be a risk. thats why you can NOT find anyone who sells it!

if you want to do that then you would have to inject 100 ml 50% glucose in that 1000ml bag. that would make apoximately 10%
(1000ml+100 ml=1100 ml) 50% /11 = 4,5% +5 % (allready in the fluid) 9,5%glucose concentration.

with 50cc of 50% in a 1000 ml bag it would be around 7,5%, slightly less

I did it once with a 250 ml bag in combination with 100 ml 50% glucose wich makes around (50/3,5) 14,3%. stung a little for 10 minutes, then a lot of fun for the rest of my 2 hour lasting train trip

If you merge 1000 ml 5% with 50 ml 50% you will get 1050 ml 7,1%.

For me personally, concentrations around 5% are harmless and comfortable to infuse. If I use 200 ml 50% with 1000 ml Saline, I get a concentration of 8,3% which is not painless (but generates great results), everything over 10% was really painful and accompanied with a lumb at the injection side, which took month to disappear.

So, try first 50 ml 50% with 1000 ml 5% and see how it works. If it is painless, you're lucky, and could try more next time, but for now I would stick at 50 ml.

Thanks for the advice, especially with you guys who have tried diluting the 50% in other ratio's as well. I'll probably start off small and see how it goes from there, I don't really want to be uncomfortable for the entire time I'm infusing.

Well I did it...

I did the full 50ml of 50% Dextrose into a 1000ml 5% Dextrose bag and infused that.

The results were definitely nice...Definitely felt the expansion more than just a 5% bag of Dextrose. The only problem I had was that I expanded too fast, and the liquid started to migrate up into my abdomen. When I woke up the next morning the swell was going down, but only because it was migrating up into my abdomen...I looked like I had gained 10lbs in the gut overnight lol...And my whole stomach area was wobbly because of the fluid just sitting there.

Do any of you have any advice on how to keep the solution down in my groin? Is there a silicone/rubber cock+ball ring I could use that is easily removable that I can use to tie myself off? I tried a tourniquet but it still doesn't feel great around the skin, and I couldn't seem to get it tight enough.

I also experienced literally zero pain while infusing...Which was nice. There wasn't a dull sting at all like with normal saline. But I was starting to sweat it out almost as soon as I was done the infusion. Probably because I was swelling up so fast...Next time I won't open up the IV clamp all the way.

I recently did 2 liters of NS+5%dex and my skin stretched too much and it all started seeping out far too quickly. I also experienced the "pooling in the lower gut" effect you mentioned, which went away after a few days. Good thing I wasn't planning on showing off my belly at a beach

Nice...Do you know of any comfortable aids to help tie myself off down there? I would like something that can be tight, but able to stretch so I can remove it when I want

oddly enough I got to thinking about that recently. A buddy once recommended a cheap pet collar made of elastic cloth, because it would stretch. but I think that would tend to roll too far away from the body.

As such, i would recommend buying "Vet-Wrap" self-adhesive tape. It doesn't stick to skin, only to itself. It's a bit pricey but I think it would work best. You could wrap some around the base of your cock and balls, and some around your body to pull the whole thing tight against you, to minimize migration.

This is so interesting that I am going to try mixing according to the above instructions. I am ,however, wondering where to but the vials of 50% Dex. Atlantic medical supply cannot sell it to anyone but a DR. Anyone have any leads or a possible web address?
