so i have used 5% and 10%. also did a mixture wich made about 12/13%
i know 50% is THE stupid thing tot do as u can get necrosis.
What percentage glucose is the max you can use without problems=
i have experienced some stinging for a couple of minutes after using 13% glucose but not to bad.

the 5% solution dilute the 10% solution, it is less... 7,5% by the same amount
dont use solution more about 10%, the effect is much time lag and incredible with 20% or40% solution

I typed my post to fast. to achieve the 12-13% i mixed normal saline with glucose 50% )250 nacl and 100 ml glucose 50%

Stay safe, don't go over 10%.
You've experienced 13%, i'd say that's already risking things.
This has to stay fun and safe.
We all try to find our limits, this is one of the reasons why we do these infusions.
But i don't think it's worth getting seriously injured doing it.

if you want to be sure of your calculation, try this handy online calculator http://www.globalrph.com/osmocalc_valid.htm
way easier than doing it by hand.
I've heard of people infusing 20% (a user named Soda reported using that a bunch of years ago) but that seems a bit much. I personally would never go over 15%, and honestly you can get excellent results with 5% in normal saline so why push it?
