Long time lurker, first time poster!
What size catheter/needle do you use? (Extra points for links to online store & product page.)
I have used a variety of catheter gauges, most recently 14G * 1.25". I kind of figured that the bigger gauge would help the fluid flow faster, but now I'm starting to wonder if that makes it harder to seal. Curious to hear other's thoughts and experience.

My honest advice, don't rush it! use the catheter you feel comfortable, but there is no point in doing it too fast, think about the strain you're putting your skin through, give it time to take the whole thing and you will go further.

If you are doing n2o you will want o use a very large gauge to allow for speed.
1st time I saw someone post what they were using for saline I was shocked
It makes sense thought, with n2o you can be fully inflated in few seconds.

Just used an 18ga last night. I bled quite a lot after I was finished with 500ml saline and 100ml dexdex, but I ended that after 10 mins of pressure, gauze, and alcohol.

I use 18g needles, not caths. I dab a little super glue on a small circle bandaid to seal. Working good so far.

I use 18 Ga X 2 or 2 1/2 caths. But then, I have a log of bag to get through to the empty spaces in between...
