contains DEHP, anyone else notice this on the iv bags?

During the supply shortage I ordered some 500ml Hospira saline from another source. I ussually purchased the 1000ml Baxter bags, but they always seem old with expirations around the corner in 2014.

I noticed the Hospira iv states "contains DEHP", expires in 2016, but made 10 years ago in 04.

I always noticed the fact I seem to be receiving not so fresh bags of saline no matter who the supplier is. Now I am suspecting they are off loading their old supplies that have plastics that have since been deemed harmful.

Any thoughts on this and does anyone know who would sell fresh stuff in the usa?

It looks like IV bags older than 06 will have Phthalates.

I should note, newer than 06 does not mean no DEHP or Phthalates, but bags without these plastics were made available after that time.
