FINALLY! My first infusion!

Hey Guys
First of all, thank you... My experience with saline was only possible after I discovered this forum!
After read a lot of things here, and chat a little bit with a member or another, I finally was able to try, AND FELT AWESOME!
My intent was take 1l of saline. But I had a few "issues" on the way, and didn't had the time that I need. So i injected just 500ml, but want do more next week.
I took some photos, hope you like it!
PS: Just a thing: After injection, I presses the puncture for a little time and put a band-aid on it. But drops of saline keep on flowing for a long time... I tried to use denture glue powder to stop it, but no success... What can I do the next time?
Oh, and sorry bout my english, Im brazilian...

Yes, great job Joe - plenty of room for a lot more next time. I use Superglue to seal the needle hole - a drop on the bandaid works for me.

Looks great -

use super glue gel, not liquid. this is what i do.


1- make sure you do not have lotion on your needle wound or it will keep it from drying correctly

2- when you are ready to seal the wound, first tie off your balls tight.

3- remove the needle and quickly dab it dry with a towel, and immediately follow that with your finger; put pressure for 3 - 5 minutes without removing it.

4- briefly lift your finger and make sure saline doesnt start coming out. if it does hold more pressure. once you can remove your finger, quickly put a dab of super glue gel and also take off your tie-off. this allows the pressure to be relieved for a moment while the glue dries.

5- have a hair dryer or a small room heater that you can point at the glue to make it dry fast. it should dry enough that the spot glue turns white and hard.

6- i then put another thin layer of glue on top of the spot and let that dry.

7- cover it with Nexcare Waterproof Bandages. They are amazing:
