I bought the Pulsar pump from vacutech. In their product describtion they say the the max. is 24HG, which i restricted to 11HG for safety reasons. This is ok, as i did not go beyond 10HG, normally. So I thought is could be a perfect device for me.
But my device stops at 6,5HG for max. pressure (the vaccum is hold constantly at this level). I cannot raise the pressure to 7HG (or hold it there). At this point there is a constant knocking - like a machine gun. This happens in both modes (fixed and Pulsar).
I checked the pressure in the tube with my Hand pump - what to say: 6,5HG, not more!
I tried diff. tubes but the problem is the same, everytime at 7HG or higher.
I am very unhappy with that and maybe somebody out there can help (Vacutech´s answers are not helpful).
Thx
Vic.

Vic
Typically that occurs is there is a small leak in your tubing or fittings and the pumo can't keep up to the pressure drop.

Try taking the restriction off, or raising the restriction to maybe like 15hg.
