Just bumping this to let subscribers know that i've come up with a regulator you can add to your cheap pump here about24460.html

It costs a bit but i think it's worth it

looking for more vacuum?? here's how to convert a small 12 volt tire pump to vacuum.

http://www.instructables.com/id/convert ... or-into-a/

Cheap, and up to 25" of hg. Drawbacks, they are quite noisy. You will need either a car battery or a pretty hefty power converter, and you will definitely need some sort of regulator

I found a $52 aquarium pump with a built-in rheostat so that you can vary the pressure.

I just don't know how to reverse the air flow. Any ideas?

This idea would would not be cheap at all if you did not already have some sort of suitable power supply already available to you. These 12 volt tire pumps typically require something like 5 amps current!!! I did not look into the costs, but a car battery or a "hefty" power supply is probably going to add some BIG $$$ to the cost of your "cheap" tire pump! Additionally, the design of many of these tire pumps make the air intake not very easily or readily accessible, and that's where you'd need to make your attachments to draw a vacuum from. Lastly, the vast majority (if not all) of the cheap tire pumps are simply not rated to run for more than a few minutes due to overheating. Overheating will quite likely result in failure of the pump due to deformation or seizure of the moving parts, which will require repair or replacement. Overall, these pumps do not seem like a good choice and probably can not be recommended.

As they say this actually works well :) VERY COOL. I got a Tetra at Wal-Mart too but watch out when you pull the part out to turn it there are two washers on the back ant the small one is really hard to find when it falls on the floor. I thought I might have needed the one with two outlets but one the seal around the base of your package gets tight it really pulls good. I'm using it for cock and balls.

I'll be getting a Tetra Whisper teh next time I go to WalMart. I was there today looking for Rena pumps (of course they don't stock them) so I returned home without a pump. I still have my little industrial pump to use with my pulsator when nobody's home but my new place really necessitates a quiet pump. I'll post again once I buy one and get it converted.

Greetings to all. You tell me what happens. Some years ago I bought an electric pump to pump at: www.misterb.nl, which no longer sells the device, I guess that the few benefits they offer, and looking online, found a similar direction: http://www.pumphouse.me.uk/acatalog/Man ... Pumps.html. The result is completely negative and pessimistic, is a huge disadvantage, and it is very noisy during operation, thus almost not at my sessions just because vacpump causing a tremendous headache from the noise emitted, no further I can use it at night because I worry to disturb my neighbors. In the machine that reads it not be used without having read the instructions, but when you buy and not bring the instructions, which I also had to change the plug, thus betraying American connection and I am European, more specifically Madrid, and even the voltage, as in his back that had a label stuck on the bottom is 230V-50 Hz 190 VA, and you can read an address www.windbrookgroup.com, and tried to find this direction but without results. This voltage does not match the intensity permitted in Spain, which is 220 volts. I tried repeatedly to contact the page www.misterb.nl, informing them of what happened but have not received even the slightest suggestion or answer, which I find unfortunate in dealing with customers. That said if someone could give me any suggestions or solutions on how to reduce noise, as I tried to isolate it in a box surrounded by cushions, but the noise continues, slowed somewhat, but even so, still very annoying. I thought if anyone could recommend a solution to make a homemade electric pump, and I've read some solutions here, but my mastery of English is not too good at Spanish and translators are not all clear Thanks everyone in advance for your attention and I hope your answers. Problem solved with misterb and electric pump that I bought, I returned the money but now I wonder if someone uses electric pump, and I want to buy a great performance, quiet and not too expensive, especially in European websites as American from shipping, customs etc expensive and leave me confused with the thickness of the valves. If anyone can recommend one that works great it would

I bought a Rena 400 aquarium air electric, and I made the changes to pump. Before electric pumps had a MisterBed but by the noise of the returned. My problem is that with the pump for hours MisterBed could be bigger, but to feel discomfort and Rena air pump time is greatly reduced due to discomfort. If anyone knows of any remedy to reduce discomfort with some cream cn guarantees or technical improvement please let me know. I have read that magnesium sulfate heptahydrate help but I have too much information about your use form. Thanks
