I have an inflatable implant and although I pumped prior to surgery to gain back length/girth I would not have thought it advisable after. Besides causing detachment of the tubes through the shaft, on me most of the internal bits of tube etc are right at the base of my shaft - just where in my case the pump came into contact with my body. As for saline - if it involves a needle, not a good idea!!!
