Hi All,I am a 36 year old male experiencing impotence problems that began about 1 year ago. I sustained a severe injury to my spine after a motor vehicle accident that herniated/ruptured four disc in my neck, (C2-3, C3-4, C4-5), and my Thoracic spince (T 2-3, T3-4), and my lumbar spine, (L3-4, L4-5, L5-6, and S1), at first I believed that my erectile problems were related to my back injuries, and my change in lifestyle. Prior to the accident I was in the gym most weeks 6 days. I only ate organic foods, limited my sugar/carbs, and caffiene. Since the accident I have not been able to work as I did prior to the accident. I was forced to obtain an office job that involved limited lifting, bending, etc. My Ortho Physician has ordered me to never lift weights again due to the severity of my spinal injuries for fear of paralysis. Now prior to the accident I experienced NO issues with erections, maintaining them, ejaculation, etc. I had a very active and productive sex life, at times a little obsessive. I believe that my erection problems may be realted to and or a combination of things. First, the spinal injuries can cause erection problems, but the Neurologist that I have seen does not think that my erection issues are a result of my injuries, but my medications. I was never one for any medications prior to my accident, but the residual pain post accident changed that. Just in order to function, I take pain medications, NSAIDS, muscle relaxors, antidepressant, and a pain patch that I change or replace every three days. I recently visitied a Urologist that has ordered lab test to assess my Testosterone Blood Levels, etc. Allthough I have not recieved the lab results as of yet, I do however believe that the combination of my medicarions with the antidepressant may be the issure. My ejaculations have over time become sad. I could have honestly held my own with Peter North, and I was proud of that, but recently the volume has decreased, and the force is allmost null, at times if we are able to have sex, I need to milk my dick to force it out, and actually this is painfull. I will be honest I am embarrased that I am talking about this, But I hope that someone reads this that can relate my be able to offer some support, as the problem is real, and it is killing me. Heath, I haven't had no spinal damage but in the past have had noticeable problems such as yours while taking antidepressants, pain medications, etc.
I was on Paxil which made a very big decline in erection quality.
Your also taking muscle relaxants along with pain meds, pain patches "Fentanyl ..probably". Those also are against quality erections.
I don't know the dosages your taking, but in my opinion, yes, it could very well be the meds hindering your erections etc.

Thanks for the response. I am just a my "Witts End" here. You know the funny thing, in the beginning when I started on the pain medications, and the fentanyl patch, etc, My erections were awesome, and in some ways enhanced, but over time all things included, I am where I am now. That is why I am a little confused about the meds. I have researched and found that they can effect erection quality, ejaculation, etc. in some men, but as I said in the beginning they were like an enhancement. So you can see where I am confused, as one Doctor tells me it is possible, while others tell me most likely. I just want to return to where I was sexually, as it is so aggravating to be experiencing this. Again, thanks you for your input, I will continue on my quest with my Doctors, and advice from others experiencing my issues. Thanks, HEATH

hi all , i just had some new things to know... Erection drugs are effective region vise also..
i found that Viagra is working for people effectively, givin all good erection in USA. but for people like from UK or Germen are having enough in KAMAGRA pill.
