I'm going to be pumping in a couple weeks from now, and am considering taking a dip in a somewhat nearby lake in an isolated area. However I figured I'd ask about it first, because I don't think of lake water as the cleanest and I don't want to risk infection at all. I assume it's safe unless I have a cut or something. Anyone have any input?
Thanks.

Just be sure not to overdo the pumping beforehand. Any abrasions or break in the skin could allow infection.
