Paid $1.00 for this vase that has a rounded smooth opening, unlike the STJ.
As you know,a STJ without a gasket is uncomfortable at 2HG, let alone 5HG.
This vase I can pump at 7HG in comfort, also at 10HG.
To use for wet pumping, a 16mm hole was drill, installed STJ fitting with other fittings and hose.

That's a great find! I noticed that you have some sort of clasp that goes around the jar's base and holds the tubing to the jar. What is it and where did you find it?
It’s the pleasure of the pressure...

It"s an 6 inch dia. O ring used for bumpers of pinball machines. You can order them at www.marcospec.com.SFBallpumper wrote:That's a great find! I noticed that you have some sort of clasp that goes around the jar's base and holds the tubing to the jar. What is it and where did you find it?
The slider is 1 inch aluminum round with a 5/16 hole.

HI that is a great find, I would buy one if I knew where to get one. if you have a STJ and need a seal, I use automotive blue silicone that I get from O'Riely's. It's oil resistant and last for a long time.
