Monster tube Bite

After the pumptoy gasket for the monster tube becomes too small and you pump without, there is a bite from the plastic edge.Has anyone figured out what to use to soften that edge.Tape,foam strip silicone?

I have had a little trouble with that also. not to bad though.

You might try reducing vac levels a little, and maybe rotating the part that bites to a flatter location. They are a bit uncomfortable when you first do away with the cushion, but you'll also find that you get used to it The cushion also slows down progress a bit (for me anyway).
You can also reshape the offending bit with heat from a hair dryer, just be careful not to warp the flanges that seal the halves together, and be careful not to scorch the plastic by keeping the heat moving constantly.
