First time posting, but I can actually relate to this!

I bought a pasta container, one of those round acrylic ones with the top that locks shut. They're just the right size for a seal if you need it (I think it was just under 4" across), and a good 12" or so long. I bought one online for $12 since I could only find square ones, but it's worked pretty well!

Here are some round ones. I haven't seen them first hand but they're made for cooking pasta inside them, so they should be fairly strong.

Those pasta cookers make real good tubes I have one.I found mine at a garage sale of all places $2.00 .Drilled a hole, glued quik connect,walla done.Works good have not used it in a long time hmmm may have to dig it out here sometime soon.
