For the last couple of months, I have been thinking of severing my Frenulum.
I have a short/tight, frenulum and it hurts a little when I pull back my foreskin.
I found out some guys tie off their own frenulum. So after doing some research, I decided to go for it.
I ordered some sutures from an online shop here in the Netherlands, and I just placed the first stitch.

Re: Frenulum tying
Little update.
The first night after tying I didn't experience any irritation or extra sensitivity.
The stitch is still tight so it all seems ok.
I think I'll post a couple of pics after the first stitch has come through the frenulum.

Hi. Update with some pics. Would be nice to see before and after pics. You'll probably have to wait say 3 days more before the knot fells off. Good luck.

Re: Frenulum tying
It looks likeI didn't tie the thread tight enough, there seems to be no cutting through the tissue.
Tonight after work i'm going to replace it.

Re: Frenulum tying
I was wrong about the stich not cutting the tissue. I just checked the stitch and pulled it a little.
And suddenly I was holding the stitch in my fingers. And it did cut through the tissue!
I placed the first stitch approx. 1.5-2 mm from the top of the frenulum.
What would be a good aount for the next step? I'm thinking 4mm.

Wow! Lucky you. Mine never cut through without assistance
I could probably make a suggestion where to tie next if you posted a pic.

Actually, I didn't feel a thing. Used a numbing cream for the actual piercing and tying. And it cut through in 5 days.
I don't want to clamp and cut. I know it's faster, but I'm nt ina hurry, plus, it's bloodless (so fat).

Re: Frenulum tying
But I have heard of another method they not tried.
This method is intended to remove the frenulum be relatively bloodless.
It should go like this. The penis about 5 minutes in ice water diving to avoid pain. Then retract the foreskin completely and the frenulum and glans (glans) with alcohol or sterilize similar. As close as possible with a sterile needle to pierce the frenulum on the underside of the glans and pull through a sterile thread. Then you only need to make a strong knot to pinch off the frenulum. After a few days the tissue has died in the node and can be cut easily and almost without bloodshed. As I have already mentioned above must always be respected even in this method, extreme cleanliness, to prevent inflammation.
For this method I have found an interesting post. http://www.voy.com/190293/23.html

Re: Frenulum tying
Just tied my second stitch.
I hit a small vein, just a couple of drops of blood, no biggie.
I'm getting better at the surgical knot, by the time I'm done I could probably work in an ER .
I used the rest of last week's suture which I stored in alcohol.
This way I can tie 20-25 knots with the 10 sutures I bought.

I'm unable to take pictures today, will post a pic or two tomorrow.
