Board problems - we're working on it!

Not only are the photos on the posts gone, All the pics in my inbox and sentbox are not there either....I sure hope they aren't gone forever!!

We did our best - we were able to restore all the messages and users, but many of the pictures posted were lost. We're very sorry about this. It was a bad failure and the backup restoration did not bring all of the images back

So far so good. Sad about the missing pictures, but we were more worried the board was never coming back! Hope you all have a good backup system going forward...thanks for what I'm sure was hard work behind the scenes.

Hey, one thing I noticed isn't working yet is the search. Most posts aren't indexed, it seems. Will that happen soon/ever?

I'm having a problem with only getting half of the photos. Just the top half is viewable. Any suggestions?

The picture should have a scroll bar beside them. It is a board feature to prevent huge photos from taking over a thread and causing excessive scrolling.

I prefer this much more to the old board. If posters would figure out how to resize their pictures, then I feel the entire community would benefit. Though I appreciate all the pictures posted, I really don't like having to scroll 4 screens to view one photo. You can't really get the idea of what the picture really is when you can't see it all on one screen.

the new board came along.
Certain other sites (newbienudes) automaticly resize the submitted
photos so there is then no issue with size.
Any how hope the problem with the photos is sorted soon, missing
those lovely pumped pussys.

Hi, if you want to see full-size images, you can install this small script I lashed together: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/45867

You need to have Firefox with the Greasemonkey add-on to install this script.

This alters the attach-image class in the stylesheet to remove the max-height value that limits the viewable image size.

If a user posts large images, then I want to see large images. I don't want some bureaucrat somewhere deciding for us what size he or she thinks is best.

If the sizes don't fit your monitor, or if you find you are scrolling too much, then there should be an option in your control panel too change image size. Technically, that could be accomplished either by resizing the images server-side via imagemagick or client-side by javascript.

I think its OK to leave the images as posted
It's only a small problem compared with what ever other problems have presented themselves

and anyway you can always make a pic smaller and get good detail
but you can't make a picture bigger and get good details just pixelization which is so uncool

SO my two cents worth is to let the images stay as posted
