Hi Fish,
if you're using WinXp there's a powertoy called 'ImageResizer'. I'll try to attach it here. Just unpack and install. After that you can simply right-click the image you want to resize and select the size which is OK for you. Normally it's 600X800.
Hope the attachement gets through.
